Our New 34 SPECIAL is a modified 1934 3 Window Coupe.
Elvis started of using one of our
standard 1934 3 Window Coupes out of the mould which
has a 3 inch chop. He cut the entire windscreen frame area out and added 2
inches into it. (therefore if you use get a standard
height windscreen frame you will only have to chop it 1 inch).
He then pie-cut from the B Pillar around to the back window, the rear
window is still our standard 3 inch chop window, the back area of the roof has
not been chopped.
Elvis then laid the windscreen frame back some 5 inches tilting the roof
down to match the lay-back windscreen.
By doing this the front section of the roof has been lowered an extra 2
inches in height, however by having less crown above the front window and
extending the windscreen frame area by 2 inches has given you the same vision
from the drivers seat as you would have with our
standard 2 inch chopped body.
This New Body Style is being produced as a “LIMITED EDITION”

As you can see in the next two photo’s the chop has now been glassed
inside and outside, still needs a couple of glass repairs in the smaller areas
and the body has now been steeled out
We have not started working on the doors
We will be updating the
progress of this New Body Style regularly so please stay tuned

We are progressing on the "New 34
Special" slowly, drivers door has now been
reshaped and have started on the other door, the inner door has been chopped up
and swung, steel reinforced, hope to get the outer skin on it early next week,
have cut a windscreen frame and have started to fine tune the windscreen area.
We will continue to keep you updated on progress
