ASRF 2009 RAFFLE CAR

The Australian Street Rod Federation Inc has officially accepted Rod Bods proposal to build the 2009 ASRF Raffle Car.

This will be advertised in Issue No: 51 of Street Rodders News (November 2007), formal announcements of which will also be made in both the Cruzin magazine and Australian Street Rodding.

We will also be updating this page to show progress of the build from time to time

The Proposed Vehicle will be a 1932 Roadster – Nostalgia

Consisting of:

1932 Roadster Rod Bods Fibreglass Body

Exposed Hinges

With gas struts and locking boot

Traditional 2 Inch Chopped Chrome Windscreen and Posts

4 Piece hood

Cycle Fenders (1936 Spare Wheel Mount) painted in Body colour

Chassis/Suspension/Running Gear

1932 Reproduction Chassis Rails – Fully Boxed

Stainless Steel 4 Bar or Hairpin Front-end

Stainless Steel Triangular Rear-end

9” Diff - fully reconditioned with 3.25 gears, 28 spline open wheeler

New Chev 350 Crate Motor

Turbo 350 (fully reconditioned with shift kit)

Tailshaft Loop

Front and rear spreader bars

Brakes – disc front / drum rear

Booster & Dual Circuit Master Cylinder

Original Style Petrol Tank

The proposal was submitted to the ASRF at the worst case scenario, to reduce this it will depend on Sponsorship from various Businesses/Companies wishing to participate by offering products at a discounted rate. Some items noted above may differ depending on Sponsorship.
